Everyday Is a Holiday Cupcake Journals, magnets and Notecards

Ok, I have been seeing information on different blogs about Everyday Is A Holiday Jenny Heid and Aaron Nieradka having items at Michaels. So I called my local Michaels and they had no idea what I was talking about. So my sister and I went to Boise and went in and started looking. Then we found them! We were digging through all of the items. We could not decide on what or how many items to get. My sister say's to me "you are giddy" I said yes I love this stuff. This little trip made my whole weekend! So RUN don't walk to your local Michaels store and get it while it is there. I think when it's gone it's gone.

A New Chapter

I'm taking a huge step! I'm going back to school. First just going for my Associates degree then onto my Bachelors in IT with an emphasis in Web Design. I'm excited but scared. It hopefully will be the icing on the cupcake! I hope that I can keep up with School, Work and Ebay. I wish I could just stay home and do ebay and etsy but, now I will have less time to do what I really love! I'm going to try and still dream up new ideas and make Shabby Cottage items that I love! So, I will post again soon.

Trying to keep busy doing something so I don't eat all the candy I've made! Here are some pictures of my tree and other Shabby Christmas!! Working on Shabby Pink Christmas items

A work in progress. As always I'm coming up with new Idea's. It snowed here in Idaho today! I'm working on Sweet candy, cupcakes, cakes and candy whimsy Christmas. I made a faux cake and added a cute little Shabby Sweet cottage a little green bottle brush tree and a ballerina. Can't decide on ballerina or a glittered reindeer. Anyway here are a few pictures of the faux Christmas cake and a bottle brush tree topper I added a vintage looking rose with pearls and lace with pink pearls. So many idea's with so little time. Story of my life. Thanks so much for stopping by, Lisa

Shabby Faux Cupcake with Parasol topper

I found these sweet plastic parasols at a local antique mall today. Actually my sister found them but, I had to have them. The package came with about 12 of them some light pink some darker pink and 2 light yellow. They came just as they are pictured roses and all. I thought they would make cute cupcake toppers. So, I got right to work and this is the result. I'm going to try to make some to get on ebay or etsy. Have not had much time between work and trying to get my house in order. Still don't have much up on my walls yet. Work in progress. Also trying to get Christmas cupcake ornaments done. Off to work I go (at home).

Oh Moving!

I just moved oh what a task. At least it was not to hot! My little house is about the perfect size over 1550 square feet and a hudge back yard for my Bailey. Just wish Bailey could mow the lawn. I added a picture. It had not been lived in, in about 6 months so the lawn is just starting to pull out of it. Tons of water I can't believe how it pulls out of it with just water. It is driving me crazy I have not been able to do anything for Ebay or Etsy.I'm also working 6 days a week right now. I'm exhausted! Finally getting a little settled in. I'm thinking Christmas already! I can't wait for a Shabby Sweet Cupcake Christmas. I'll be making all sorts of different Sweet treat ornaments! Both for me and you! Hopefully next post I'll have new goodies to show!
